INSPIRATION

The technical work of recovering from an eating disorder is very important.  Concrete actions like therapy appointments and meal plans are important.  Just as effective is looking for ways to inspire and motivate yourself to stay in recovery and look at the world in a new way.

Affirmations

We are what we believe.  Replacing the low self-esteem that is present in all eating disorders is an important step in recovery.  When your thoughts change, your behavior does, too.

Body Positive

The growing Body Positive movement encourages and helps people to stop hating their bodies and believing the myth that there is only one beautiful and acceptable body type.  There is great freedom not only in accepting but celebrating our different sizes, shapes and unique selves.  More to this section coming soon!
